Why I Wrote Lethokuhle: A Story That Fights Back

I didn’t write Lethokuhle to be an author.

I wrote it because I had to. Because the pain I carried needed a place to
breathe.

lt started as fiction – but it quickly became something else. The grief, the
rage, the silence of a hospital room…those weren’t just scenes. Those were
memories. Rewritten. Refused. Reclaimed.

Lethokhule tells the story of a boy who loses his father and brother in one
night and finds himself alone, emotionally broken, and invisible to the world,
His journey takes him into the UFC – but it’s not about fame or winning. It’s
about survival.

That fighter? He might look fictional. But emotionally, he’s me.

I’ve felt invisible. I’ve lost things I couldn’t explain. And I’ve fought -not in a
cage, but inside.

Writing this story became my therapy, my protest, and my message.

Why Lethokhule Matters Now

This book is about people who fight without recognition. About those who
survive, not because they’re strong – but because they have no choice.

It’s about legacy – not inherited, but earned

The UFC Was Just a Metaphor

I chose the UFC because it’s raw, real, and brutal. But in this story, it’s not
about violence,

It’s about focus.Rebirth.Controlled chaos. And the power of fighting smart
emotionally and mentally.

This Book Is For…

Anyone who’s carried pain alone,.
Anyone who’s ever doubted their future.
Anyone who’s rebuilding.

If that’s you – then Lethokuhle was written with you in mind
